Rudra is the CFO at Paytm, eCommerce and Strategy. Rudra is a seasoned global investment professional with over 16 years experience in Private Equity, Financial Services and Investment Banking across Asia, Europe and the United States.  He is a well known investment and socio economic commentator and has been featured in various publications globally.   

Rudra Dalmia was the Managing Director of Saxo Bank’s India entity – Saxo Financial Services Private Limited for 4 years from 2012 – 2016 where he spearheaded the Danish fintech giant’s growth in the Indian Subcontinent.  Rudra previously worked at Dawnay Day International in London, as Director of Principal Investments, overseeing the firm’s investment and expansion in India and South East Asia. Prior to that he worked at Ebookers Plc in London managing their acquisitions and subsequent integration projects.  Prior to that he was Country Head for Ebookers Shared Services, a Knowledge Process Outsourcing Unit in India. He has also worked in Investment Banking at Citibank in New York. 

Rudra is the Managing Partner at RD CAPITAL, which advises substantial family offices on investments in India, Vietnam, United States and Europe, across sectors like Financial Services, Hospitality, Real Estate and Wellness.  Rudra is an angel investor and has several investments in the fintech, luxury goods, consumer services and the hospitality industry.

Rudra holds an MBA from Cornell University and is a graduate from Shriram College of Commerce in Delhi.
